Job Title: Caregiver

Location:  Dorchester, Berkeley, Orangeburg, and Colleton County.

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate caregiver to join our team. As a caregiver, you will be responsible for providing essential care and support to our clients, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support.
  • Assist with meal preparation and feeding.
  • Monitor and report changes in client health and behavior.
  • Administer medications as prescribed.
  • Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Accompany clients to appointments and errands.
  • Follow care plans and document care provided.
Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience as a caregiver or in a related field preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is an advantage
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, compassion, and a strong desire to help others.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up clients
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
